Streaming video on a 3D model

Post by Edwin »

It is now possible to play streaming Quicktime video in Virtual Paradise. It's also possible to stream audio but that puts a black texture on the 3D model it's applied to, which is probably not what you want. I've made a video of it in action and put it on Youtube, it can be found at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uRBEy96Bgvo

Wow, it looks nice but is it also with sound cause i didn't hear anything in your demo-movie? Also: it would be better if you finished the basic stuff and release a first version and then continue by adding more 'advanced' things like media, rotates, moves, ...

AW didn't have all those features either in their first version.

That's right, but the first version of AW was more then 10 years ago... I will make the more basic stuff anyway, making things like this is just more fun to do :)
